About Us
What is the "core"? Basically, the "core" is the groups of muscles that support your body and are found within the torso. They govern how we apply the body's power to the efficient accomplishment of physical tasks. Not only the abs and outer back muscles, they also include the inner muscles that lie close to the spine, and form the foundation for the outer muscles of the torso and the limbs. Its no wonder then, that core fitness is vital to everything that you do, be it playing a game of tennis, or lifting bags of groceries.
While core training was first developed for athletes, it is of course beneficial for each and everyone of us. Whether you're aiming for Olympic glory or just want to get out of bed without those usual aches and pains, it all starts by training your core. Get the core in shape and everything else follows.
How can we help you?At The Core, we specialize in getting your core fit. We are a new custom-built fitness studio and education center. Our team of expert instructors has developed a range of group exercise classes designed to provide you with ways to achieve and maintain optimal core strength and flexibility, in conjunction with cardiovascular fitness and strengthening. (One of our advisors is a doctor to the US Olympic Team!)
